The KTM test rider will race in Jerez “to better understand the Sprint race”, as he explained a few days ago. But now he’s admitted that I need to work on his physique a little bit

The days of Pedrosa will be back on track in Jerez Grand Prix, at 37 and a half years old. The last GP held is that of Austria in 2021, still as a wild card.
This new race weekend will serve Pedrosa for better understand the Sprint races and direct his work as test driver from that point of view as well: “We’ll do this wildcard – Pedrosa wrote on social media a couple of weeks ago – above all to get more experience in the sprint race and with the new MotoGP format”.
Pedrosa spoke on the sidelines of Tuesday’s RFME (Spanish Motorcycle Federation) gala.
The class of 1985 said: “It’s been a few years and like it or not, I have to go back to the racing mentality. I am looking forward to the Grand Prix with all its energy. I hope the fans help me reconnect really quickly.”
Before this, however, the 26th has to work: “I have to get back in shapeI still continue to ride a motorcycle, but to compete in Jerez I have to get back in shape physically”.
During the shakedown the KTM rider always raced without a transponder so we don’t know his times, but he brought the most interesting novelty to the track: the new aerodynamics of the RC16, later explained by the engineer Bernardelle.
