Warner Bros. Games confirms a new installment of the Mortal Kombat saga that will arrive together with Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
Fans may be excited as it has been confirmed that ‘Mortal Kombat 12‘ will be released in 2023. NetherRealm Studiosthe developers behind the popular fighting franchise, have announced the launch this year in a recent results presentation of Warner Bros. Discovery.
This is an iconic saga in the video game industry that was created by ed boon y John Tobias in 1992, which was the year in which they debuted on half the world’s arcade machines, shortly after they made the leap to consoles. The franchise has become a cultural phenomenon that has spawned movies, comics, and a loyal fan base around the world.
Mortal Kombat 12 on sale in 2023
In 1995, the third installment expanded the cast of characters with new fighters like Cetrion, Frost, and Shao Kahn. From that moment on, the saga expanded with new installments such as ‘Mortal Kombat 4’ (1997), ‘Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance’ (2002) and ‘Mortal Kombat: Armageddon’ (2006).
The 11th installment arrived in 2019. This latest installment introduced a new combat system and new mechanics, as well as a greater number of playable characters.
The last installment will be on sale this 2023, but the specific date is still unknown.
