The problems for Fntastic and The Day Before continue, as the survival game is embroiled in another controversy. Players found that his latest trailer shamelessly copied a trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, an Activision title that debuted in 2020.
To prove it, the community made several comparisons where very similar scenes are shown. They are not only similar because of their locations, but also because of the characters shown, the shots and the aesthetics in general.

Players accuse The Day Before of plagiarism
Several very observant players found the start of the new The Day Before gameplay familiar, where various characters are seen entering a dark and dangerous location. They compared this sequence to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode reveal trailer and the results are amazing.
Both videos coincide in almost all their elements, locations, characters on the screen and even in the atmosphere. Screenshots and videos are already circulating on social networks that compare both videos simultaneously.
The community believes that Fntastic plagiarized Activision’s trailer as such, so they asked him for an explanation. At the time of writing this, the developer has not ruled on the subject, but sooner or later it will have to resolve this new controversy.
Due to this situation, some players have already lost the little confidence they had in the project, which was delayed until the end of the year for reasons they consider simple excuses. Below you can see the evidence:
