The former manager, disbarred for the Calciopoli events, shouldn’t have been there. Chiné has already listened to Pessotto, it is probable that he will also hear the Neapolitan leaders
A little less than three weeks ago, on 14 January, the images of Luciano Moggi on the sidelines of the pitch during the Primavera match between Naples and Juventus were bounced on social media, triggering a single question practically everywhere: how can the former Juventus manager, disbarred for the facts of Calciopoli, to occupy such a privileged position during an official match?
A question that the federal prosecutor now wants to answer which, immediately after hearing the news in the press accompanied by very clear images, opened an investigation file on the incident. The violation, should it be verified, would concern the presence on the sideline of a figure not present neither in the match list nor among the accredited ones (photographers, cameramen, etc.), aggravated in the case of Moggi by the radiation, or “the foreclosure for life to stay in any rank or category of the FIGC”. The prosecutor led by Giuseppe Chiné intends to quickly ascertain what happened and how.
INTERVIEW
—
On Wednesday Gianluca Pessotto, coordinator of the Juventus technical staff, was heard, who spoke at length with Moggi that day on the Cercola pitch. It is probable that Napoli will also be heard as responsible for organizing the match, given that the Azzurri were playing at home.
