Microsoft wants the purchase of Activision Blizzard to be approved yes or yes and to do so it is willing to make concessions that few of us imagined. In fact, he has just made a move that puts pressure on Sony and authorities in the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe.
At a conference in Brussels, Belgium, known as the capital of the European Union, Brad Smith, president of Microsoft, announced that all Xbox games for PC will come to GeForce Now, NVIDIA’s cloud service. This means that Microsoft will bring games from Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks to the service of the competition. The same will happen with those of Activision Blizzard if the purchase is approved.
“Microsoft will bring Xbox games played on PC to Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud service. We will also bring all Activision Blizzard games, including Call of Duty to GeForce Now,” were Smith’s words.
According to Microsoft, this is a 10-year commitment that will ensure that GeForce Now customers can access all of these games from that service. In this way, they will not be exclusive to Xbox Cloud Gaming.
We have signed a 10 year agreement with NVIDIA that will allow GeForce NOW players to stream Xbox PC games as well as Activision Blizzard PC titles, including COD, following the acquisition. We´re committed to bringing more games to more people – however they choose to play.

Microsoft wants Activision Blizzard purchase to go through
It is a move with which Microsoft hopes to convince competition authorities in Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom that the purchase of Activision Blizzard will not create a monopoly or limit access to franchises like Call of Duty.
With this, Microsoft also makes a master move, putting NVIDIA on its side. Recall that the company known for its PC hardware was opposed to the deal. With this, he gains an important ally in his fight to become Activision Blizzard King.
This is in addition to the fact that Microsoft has also confirmed a commitment with Nintendo so that future installments of Call of Duty have simultaneous releases on Nintendo consoles. This is an agreement that will be in force for at least 10 years.
“We are committed to providing long-term equitable access to Call of Duty for other gaming platforms, providing more choice for more players and more competition in the gaming marketplace,” Smith said.
