ROME, FEBRUARY 21 – “We will fight for you and your freedom”. This was said by the councilor Giorgia Meloni to the local Ukrainian authorities, at the end of the visit to the places of the Bucha massacres, where he laid red flowers to pay homage to the victims in the mass graves. In front of this symbolic place, the Prime Minister closed in recollection, making the sign of the cross. Emotional at times, during her visit to Bucha, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni listened to various Ukrainian authorities tell stories of the tragedies caused in these places by Russian aggression. After reviewing even a small photographic exhibition with images of the horrors, the Prime Minister asked the interpreter to translate a message to her interlocutors: “You are not alone”. “You can count on Italy, we have been with you from the beginning and we will be until the end.
