ROME, FEBRUARY 14 – The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella has expressed “the gratitude of the Republic” for the arrest of Matteo Messina Denaro “underlining how this success of the action of the Judiciary and of all the Police Forces, who have committed themselves with tenacity and dedication, has manifested the supremacy of the law over crime and has strengthened the trust of citizens in a society free from the presence of the mafia”.
