ROME, 03 FEB – “The global market with which we are called to deal in the Information Society requires robust guarantees, such as those offered at the European Union level by the proposals put forward during the elaboration of the Media Freedom Act. Respect for professional activities of journalists is an essential component of our system of freedom. The aggressions and intimidations of which their work is still sometimes subjected are intolerable for the Republic”. President Sergio Mattarella underlines this in a message on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Order of Journalists. (HANDLE).
