If the internet doesn’t work for you on your mobile, you should know that it’s not your thing. From approximately 09:00 in the morning, all the major mobile phone operators in Spain are having connection problemsaccording to the Down Detector service.
From Orange to Vodafone, passing through Movistar, Jazztel, Lowi, Yoigo, MásMóvil or Simyo. The lack of coverage is repeated in all the large cities of Spain and equally among the different operators.
The problems reported by some users include the lack of being able to make calls or send messages over the Internet, which is why problems are being reported with WhatsApp, despite the fact that the messaging service does work.
At the moment there is no official statement from any operator, although the customer service of some operators such as Vodafone they are already explaining to customers they are aware of the problem.
We have consulted the main operators about the scope and cause of these cuts, and we are waiting for a response from all of them. In principle, It seems that it is a drop in the Endesa and Adif network which provides service to Orange, so the French operator is suffering the most problems. However, the cuts are also affecting customers of other operators.
