What have the Avengers done now? It seems that, according to one last rumor, Marvel’s Phase 6 will change their plans for this franchise.
Marvel Studios will change Phase 6 because of The Avengers. According to sources trusted by the moderators of the MS Spoilers subreddit, Avengers: Secret Wars and the climax of the MCU Multiverse Saga could be about to undergo some major changes.
The rumor claims that Marvel Studios is having “very, very early talks” to split Secret Wars into two parts, thus stretching the conclusion of this saga into three films if you count The Kang Dynasty. These changes in The Avengers could even extend the Saga of the Multiverse to a seventh phase, which would cause this narrative to have up to four phases of the MCU. However, the post clarified that his source “was not sure” of that detail.
What are the MCU changes in mind?

As for the Marvel movies coming before Secret Wars, Doctor Strange 3 is said to be among them. The rumor points out that almost all the movies released after The Kang Dynasty and before Secret Wars will take place in the Battleworld universe.. Disney currently has three untitled MCU movies slated to release between the two Avengers movies. Those mystery tapes will be released on July 25 and November 7, 2025, with a third coming on February 13, 2026.
An earlier rumor claimed that Marvel Studios intends to release Doctor Strange 3 before the fifth Avengers movie.. The reason for this rumor? That the studio currently has no free release date before The Kang Dynasty, scheduled for May 2025. Although that rumor also suggested that the next Earth’s Mightiest Heroes movie would even arrive in 2026, forcing the extension of the Secret Wars plans to a seventh phase.
