The eight-time world champion is aiming for the Sepang tests to find out the level of the new Honda
Honda, in this new season, is called for redemption after finishing in last place in the constructors’ standings in 2022. Marc Marquez has the same goal, who seems to be recovering fully from his physical problems with the hope of being able to return to compete consistently for the ultimate victory.
However, much will depend on the competitiveness of the new bike compared to its rivals, first and foremost the reigning champion Ducati. Precisely on this aspect the Spanish rider wanted to underline the importance of the Sepang tests between 10 and 13 February to discover the level of the Honda RC213V.
“We had a good winter, I trained hard to get to the start of the new season in the best possible way. It will be very nice to see the team again, but even more important will be to find out how they have worked over the past few months, so as to understand where are we and how far are we from our rivals. I can’t wait to start testing and get back on the bike” these are the words of the eight-time world champion reported by FormulaPassion.
