Madonna reappeared on social networks to talk about her “look” at the Grammys after being criticized on the internet for her physical appearance, and assured that she was recovering from surgery.
The 64-year-old singer posted a tweet that seemed to be aimed at all those who had made unflattering comments about her appearance, while performing at the 2023 Grammy Awards earlier this month, People explained.
“Look how pretty I am now that the swelling from the surgery has gone down,” she captioned a photo of herself, posing for the camera head-on and sporting braided hair, ripped jeans, and a baseball cap.. She ended the statement with a cheeky “lol.”
“Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech, which was about giving thanks for the bravery of artists like Sam and Kim, many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me taken with a camera long lens by a press photographer that would distort anyone’s face!” said the artist.
