Feyenoord has narrowly avoided the second defeat of this season. The leader came back from a two-goal deficit (2-2) against ten PSV players. Substitute Alireza Jahanbakhsh scored both Rotterdam goals in the final phase.
Anwar El Ghazi put PSV ahead in the 8th minute after a good attack, via Joey Veerman and star Xavi Simons. Shortly afterwards, El Ghazi was injured and PSV defender Phillipp Mwene was also out before the break.
PSV had to continue with one man less from the 64th minute after a direct red card for defender Armando Obispo. Shortly after the red card, substitute and debutant Thorgan Hazard put PSV 2-0.
Feyenoord came alongside via Jahanbakhsh, thanks to hits in the 81st and 96th minutes.
Feyenoord has 43 points after twenty rounds. AZ is second with 41 points, followed by Ajax with 40 points and PSV with 39 points.
