Margherita Agnelli and Gigi Moncalvo sued
Margherita Agnelli, daughter of the lawyer Gianni, and Gigi Moncalvo were sued by the Milanese lawyer Emanuele Gamna at the Florence prosecutor’s office for some contents of the book “Lambs knives“. According to what Verità e Affari reports, Gamna, who had defended Margherita Agnelli during the succession of the Lawyer, the lawyer would have motivated his decision by asserting that he does not intend “to suffer any longer the harassment that has caused me very serious and irreversible damage over time. Margherita Agnelli assisted by me at the time of her father’s succession – he says – he obtained the largest part of the assets “visible” at the time, maintaining the right to receive half of what was later found and furthermore in 2004 he decided independently to transfer his share of the company to his mother controlling company of the Fiat Group, deeming the Fiat on the brink of failure“.
But according to Gamna in the book of Gigi Moncalvo “explicit and defamatory” references would appear of “double at stake” in favor of the mother and her eldest son, John Elkann. Margherita Agnelli would have accused her three children and their mother Marella of having “schemed” behind her back with the complicity of Gamna. The lawyer’s daughter would have received just over a billion and for this she would be seeking revenge. For Gamna it is “a serious accusation. I do not intend to suffer any longer the harassment that has caused me very serious and irreversible damage over time, I have turned to the criminal judge” concluded Gamna.
