Kawasaki Indonesia is again kicking off adrenaline lovers of Indonesian motorbike speed by preparing to launch the latest model, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR. The motorbike, which was first introduced to Uncle Sam’s country, was inspired by the ZX-25R model, which uses a similar engine design, but the engine piston size is larger.
Not only is the design of the kitchen spur made similar, but the appearance of the Kawasaki ZX-4RR is somewhat identical to the 4-cylinder Ninja 250. Especially the sharp line pull on the fairing and the two main lights.
In addition to the main lights already using LED technology, Kawasaki’s newest sport motorbike is also equipped with other advanced features. One of them is a 4.3-inch TFT digital odometer that displays various information, including maintenance time.
On the legs, you can see dual disc brakes with a disc size of 290 mm combined with a 37 mm SFF-BP suspension.

The upside down suspension model is also similar to the Honda CBR250RR or ZX-25RR, with a travel distance of 4.7 inches. The suspension supports the front tires with 17-inch rims wrapped in 120/70 tubelles tires. While the rear tires measuring 160/60 are supported by a monoshock suspension.
For the braking part, Kawasaki has embedded ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) technology at the front and rear to prevent tires from slipping because the calipers are locked.
While the rear swing arm is combined with a BFRC horizontal mono shock that works with the help of gas, and can be adjusted for high and low, softness, or hardness of the suspension when working up and down.
4-cylinder 16 valve engine
Embedded inline 4-cylinder engine which has a total of 16 valves or valves with over head camshaft. The compression space, or the distance between the piston head and the cylinder head is quite dense, which is 12.3 to one.

Despite the large number of pistons, the size of each piston is only 57 mm, with a stroke distance of 39.1 mm. The ignition system uses DFI injection with a 34 mm throttle which is large enough to spray fuel.
The maximum power that is given off by the ZX-4RR is 80 PS and 78.9 hp. Equipped with a radiator, or liquid cooling considering the compression is dense, and the volume is large to suppress heat while working.
Completeness of safety electronic features
Kawasaki also embeds electronic devices to provide more driving sensations for its users. Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), for example, which functions to hold the motorbike at a certain speed.
In addition there are three choices of driving styles, as well as a quick shifter to speed up gearshifts without pulling the clutch lever which is combined with a slipper clutch when decelerating.
Regarding the price, the Kawasaki ZX-4RR costs US$ 9.69, or the equivalent of Rp. 140 million. This means that it is only a slight difference from the price of the Kawasaki ZX-25RR, which is marketed in Indonesia, Rp. 129.9 million on the road in Jakarta.
