Judas, the new video game by Ken Levine (the famous creator of BioShock), recently gave us something to talk about and not precisely because of its upcoming release but because of what seems to be a longer waiting period, that is, than the advance we saw in The Game Awards 2022 got us excited ahead of time.

Judas could debut until March 2025
During the presentation of the recent financial report of Take-Two Interactive (the company that owns Ghost Story Games) it was revealed that Judas, the new video game from Ken Levine’s studio, is 2 years away from its launch at best. The information was shared by IGN, which cites company statements in which it indicates that it plans to launch more than 80 video games between the end of fiscal year 2023 (which ends next March) and fiscal year 2025, which will end in March. of that same year. In that sense, Take-Two confirmed that Judas is on the list.

Although thinking about the launch of Judas in the first quarter of 2025 seems somewhat exaggerated, we must take into account that the video game has been in production for years and it is said that it has gone through a phase of development hell, in fact its initial plan was to debut in 2017.
Likewise, it seems that Ken Levine’s new video game, being a AAA, suffers from the same thing that has plagued major productions in recent years: delays. Hence, it is not surprising that Take-Two contemplates its launch for the fiscal quarter 2025, after all, it will have been a long time since its revelation, so the publication priority could be in games in an advanced stage of development and with little time to guarantee its release.
