He does not hide his ambitions for the next motoring season, Jorge Lorenzo. His first experience with the Carreras in 2022 was not exciting, but now he has decided to replicate it with greater conviction.
“It’s not easy – he declared – to switch from riding a racing bike to riding a car. With the car you cut the curbs, the trajectories change completely, before going really fast there is a lot to learn. Driving is less physical, you don’t move in the car like you do on the bike for weight transfers and naturally you feel more protected. I drive clean, as I always have, but I still don’t know all the secrets of the car, they are two different, not to say opposite, worlds“.
On his posts, the Majorcan published photos of his Milanese trip, in Piazza Duomo and then in the Galleria, in Carlo Cracco’s restaurant. After retiring, the five-time world champion devoted himself above all to exotic travel and the good life. But it’s hard to do without engines, especially the adrenaline of racing. Now Jorge seems to have decided on one more shot: he wants to make a good impression, as well as having fun.
