The release of Hogwarts Legacy last week has strongly reignited the controversy surrounding JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter saga.
The writer has been seen as a transphobic figure as a result of several tweets published a few years ago. A part of the Harry Potter fandom raised their hands to their heads and vowed never to touch one of his books again.
Movie stars have also spoken out Harry Potterboth for and against JK Rowling being able to give her opinion on gender and sexuality issues.
The writer has defended herself on several occasions, including a lengthy post on her official website a couple of years ago, though it was not particularly well received. Now, JK Rowling returns to address the controversy that, as we have said, Hogwarts Legacy has revived with that famous boycott.
