Director James Gunn will be rebooting DC Comics movies and series and has a very negative opinion of the DCEU and Snyderverse.
Plans have just been published James Gunn with the future of DC Comicsso the DCEU y Snyderversothey are the past and he considers that everything has been too chaotic and meaningless.

“I wanted to deal with these characters. We all know it’s been a rocky ride for a lot of them over the last few years and I really thought it was a challenge, but I think it’s a chance to create something really wonderful with these characters. The story has been crap! It’s been a really fucked up ride for DC Comics.”
“I think there was basically no one who cared about the essence and they were giving these characters to whatever creative put a smile on whoever was in charge. No real power was ever given to the people in charge, so someone could always check their head and do whatever they wanted.” James Gunn said possibly alluding to Dwayne Johnson getting DC Films boss Walter Hamada to bring back Henry Cavill’s Superman for the Black Adam movie.
The director likes everything to make some sense.
“We had the DCEU, which later became Joss Whedon’s Justice League. But it also turned into the Snyderverse, which turned into this. And then we have Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 2, which doesn’t even match up to what happened in Wonder Woman 1. But then we have the Arrowverse and even us with The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.”
“What exactly? And suddenly Batman is a real guy. So how can we take these things together and make them make sense and unify them and make it a real universe, a real world? he concluded James Gunn.
