A new Scream video shows how many times Ghostface has been beaten up by potential victims in the franchise
To the saga Scream It started in 1996, and currently has five films and an upcoming sixth. The Franchise Killer, Ghostfaceis actually a cloak worn by various people throughout the series, all wearing the same mask and outfit.
On Twitter, a parody account has shared a fan-made video that compiles many clips of the killer being beaten up by potential victims.
The beatings shown are in sync with the beat of the song by Annie «It’s the Hard-Knock Life». Some of the moments of the saga that the video includes are Tatum (Rose McGowan) hitting Ghostface with a refrigerator door in Scream 1996, Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) attacking the murderer in the second part and Cotton Weary (Liev Schreiber) knocking over a bookshelf in the third.
The blows to Ghostface can be taken in two ways. The first would be that if a victim fights hard enough he could survive a horrible situation. The second way is to see that Ghostface is not invulnerable and that the killer is human. However, we will have to wait until the premiere of Scream 6 on March 10 to see if the saga continues along the same lines or if they will present us with any changes.
