Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most anticipated games for RPG fans. The good news is that this week its release on consoles was confirmed during the State of Play. The Larian Studios title will come to PlayStation 5, but it was not entirely clear if there will also be an Xbox version or if it will be a kind of temporary Sony exclusivity.
Due to this, Larian Studios decided to clarify the situation to end the concern of some players. Especially for those who want to enjoy the title on current Xbox consoles.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to consoles, will it be exclusive to PS5?
Thanks to a Push Square report, we know that PlayStation and Larian Studios do not have an exclusivity deal for Baldur’s Gate 3. A member of the studio’s PR department said there is no exclusivity for the game’s launch.
What does this mean? That the doors are open for its future arrival on other platforms, including Xbox consoles. The game is currently confirmed for PS5, PC, and GeForce Now, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service.
“Right now, Larian plans to release Baldur’s Gate 3 for PC, Mac, GeForce Now, and PS5. That being said, they are not exclusive and support for additional platforms will be announced when they are ready,” the studio member stated.
Unfortunately, no further details were released about it. So Larian did not confirm for now ports for Xbox Series X | S or an estimated date for the arrival of the RPG on other platforms.
