ROME, FEBRUARY 12 – The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will visit China next Monday at the official invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. BBC Persian writes it. The visit will last three days. Iran and China have strong economic ties, especially in the fields of energy, transportation, agriculture, trade and investment. In 2021, both countries signed a 25-year “strategic cooperation pact” at a “political and economic” level. China is Iran’s main trading partner, writes the Irna news agency: exports to Beijing amounted to 12.6 billion dollars, while imports of goods from China amounted to 12.7 billion dollars. (HANDLE).
