Wall Street closed this Friday in red and the Dow Jones of Industriales, its main indicator, fell a 1.02% in reaction to a higher-than-expected rise in an inflation gauge tracked by the US Federal Reserve (Fed).

The Nasdaq Composite Market Index, which brings together large technology companies, lost a 1.69% o 195.46 integersuntil 11 mil 394.94.
The PCE price index, which measures personal consumption spending, increased by a 4.7% year-on-year and a 0.6% compared to the previous month, which reinforces the possibility that the Fed will continue raising interest rates to curb inflation.
Fear of the Fed’s aggressiveness in terms of monetary policy, and the possibility that it will plunge the economy into a recession, have generated sales in the stock market, but also in the public debt market.
The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield rose today to a peak of 3.978%.
By sectors, the biggest losses were for real estate companies (-1.81%)technology (-1.77%) and non-essential goods (-1.56%)while those of basic materials remained afloat (0.65%) and financial (0.11%).
