“Members of the North Kuta Police Traffic Unit reported that an online motorcycle taxi (ojol) driver suspected the package was being sent by an unknown person,” said Badung Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Leo Dedy Defretes.
The opsnal officer immediately checked the item and it contained a box of cookies and instant coffee and the envelope inside contained three clear plastic packets suspected of cocaine. The Opsnal member asked the ojol driver to find the recipient’s address.
“The item was received by AB at a nightclub and the suspect was immediately arrested,” he said.
Apart from AB, the opsnal officers also arrested three other suspects, SP (32). This man from East Java who works as a mechanic was arrested, Wednesday (8/2/2023) at 15.00 in one of the parks on the side of Jalan Ahmad Yani. The evidence seized was methamphetamine (SS) weighing 2.77 grams packaged in 41 plastic clip packages.
In addition, other suspects arrested with the initials AM (32) and AN (34) on Jalan Muding, Wednesday (15/2/2023) around 19.00. The two suspects have become the target of the police.

“The two were arrested shortly after taking a patch of the SS package weighing 0.13 grams behind the trees on the side of the road,” said the police chief.
The next day, the police arrested a man with the initials JS (28) at around 19.20 on the side of Jalan Danau Tempe, Denpasar.
The suspect driving a car was stopped by the police and when he was searched he was found to be carrying 0.32 grams of methamphetamine.
The drug case is still being investigated by the Badung Police. Especially about the origin of cocaine for Indian foreigners. ***
