JAKARTA – Rasmus Paludan Recently, there has been hot news regarding his controversial action burn scriptures Muslims. This action immediately received criticism from the international community, especially Muslim countries.
The controversial action of the Swedish-Danish man is apparently not the first time he has done it. The following is Paludan’s actions in the burning of the Koran:

1. Denmark
Reporting from TRT World, the leader of the Danish right-wing party burned the Koran for the first time in 2019 in Norrebro, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Not only burning holy books, Paludan, worse, wrapped the Koran in pork which was then burned together. This made him deported to enter a number of areas in Europe. Like Germany, Belgium, and Sweden.
Then on January 27, 2023, Paludan again carried out his action in front of a mosque in Denmark. According to AA, he took the place directly across from the Islamic Society’s mosque after Friday prayers in Copenhagen’s Dortheavej district.
Khalid al-Subeyhi, a mosque volunteer, said they are used to this situation and it is not the first time they have experienced it. He said Paludan had carried out provocative acts in front of many Danish mosques for more than two years.

2. Sweden
After being deported from Sweden in 2020, Paludan received another permit to enter in 2022. However, he took advantage of this to return to provocative actions.
This action in Sweden was carried out before he burned the Koran in front of a mosque in Denmark last January 27. On January 21, 2023, this anti-Islam activist burned the Koran outside the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm under police protection and with permission from the authorities.
