The highest point of Hogwarts: how to discover it
If you’ve seen the Harry Potter movies, then you know that the highest point of Hogwarts is in the office of the school principal. In the case of the film saga, it was Dumbledore’s private study.
Of course, Hogwarts Legacy rescues this iconic place, although changing the figure of Dumbledore for that of Phineas Nigel Blackthe headmaster of Hogwarts at the time.
You should know that to get a trophy/achievement in the game, it is mandatory to reach the highest point of the castle. But first things first: how do we get into Black’s office?
It is impossible to enter until we reach the main mission Polyjuice Plot. Professor Fig orders us to sneak into the director’s office. For this he gives us Polyjuice Potion, which will temporarily turn us into Phineas Nigellus Black.
Don’t worry, because the director will be busy while you complete this mission. The quickest way to get to Black’s office is via the Llama Floo in the trophy room.
Before, we must talk to Black’s house-elf, Scrope, to give us the password to access the office. Once we have it, go to Professor Fig’s office to inform him of your success.
In case you have not discovered this flame, just go to the top of the Grand Staircase and you will already have it located. From there, continue down the hall until you reach a metal door. You need Alohomora level 1 to open it.
Go up the stairs you see below. Upon reaching the top, you will find a long corridor full of bronze statues. Go straight until you see a statue of a guardian.
Say the password Scrope gave you, and the gatekeeper will let you through. Go up the stairs until you reach Principal Black’s office.

The main quest is now over. But how to reach the highest point of Hogwarts Legacy? For it you need to have Alohomora at maximum level. If so, return to Principal Black’s office following the same directions.
Next to Black’s desk, behind a mirror, a secret door is hidden. You must open it with Alohomora, and then you will be outside the castle. Go up the stairs, straight ahead.
