We are many Hollow Knight fans who have been waiting for the sequel to the Metroidvania classic for a long time. However, with 2023 supposedly being the year that Hollow Knight: Silksong finally launches, we’re starting to see hints of a light at the end of the tunnel. In fact, a recent development may have made that light a bit brighter.
Hollow Knight: Silksong finally has an official page on the Switch eShop. At E3 last year, it was confirmed that the game would be out before June 2023, and with January already behind us, presumably if those plans are still on the way, the game won’t be too far from launch.
Whether this means we can expect a demo sometime in the relatively near future remains to be seen. Recent leaks have claimed that a Nintendo Direct presentation could be scheduled for next week, and if that’s the case, it could be a suitable setting for Hollow Knight to make an appearance.
Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It will also be available via Game Pass at launch.
