The National Police have arrested 3 people in an aesthetic clinic in Marbella. There are a dozen victims affected by these beauty treatments and some of them have been left with serious aesthetic injuries.
María is one of the victims of this clinic located in Puerto Banús that has been closed since February 1. A doctor, a dentist and a beautician have been denounced by 10 people who refer malpractice in their treatments. This is the case of María who underwent an anti-cellulite treatment and suffered serious damage. She tells that she was given anesthesia without her consent. She woke up after 3 hours “in a very abrupt way.” The worker took several photographs of her without her consent that she later published on the center’s social networks.
The skin was left “with the sensation of having been ironed.” The beautician recommended that she not sunbathe and apply a kind of Vaseline. As the days passed, burns began to show on her skin. “All your skin is like a grid with lines and dots vertically and horizontally where blood comes out,” she says. María was unable to sunbathe all summer and currently she has marks like a tattoo.

Fabiola is another victim of the center. She had a facial with a friend at this clinic. She for 3 hours she was unconscious. She woke up half naked and with her face covered in blood. She does not know what treatment they have applied to her because the center did not inform her of it. She recounts that she was in tremendous pain and couldn’t even open her eyes.
