Following the premiere of episode 6 of The Last of Us, the public was quick to spot two production errors that had made it past the final cut of the series. The first could be seen when Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) were crossing a snow-covered bridge on their way to Jackson, Wyoming. To the left of said shot you can see an HBO production crew among the trees, cameras and all.

The other blunder came later in the episode, when Ellie runs into her horse Shimmer. The camera pans to Ellie and the horse. So, the hand of the animal keeper appearssomething that surely was not intentional on the part of HBO and that has been replaced.

Both errors went unnoticed by the vast majority
Although HBO and The Last of Us team are receiving a few sarcastic tweets against him, this type of error was ultimately not a big problem. Many of the fans who watched the episode were so enthralled by the journey across the continental United States that they probably didn’t even realize something was wrong.
However, it was clear that someone was going to notice these slip-ups. Even the creators of a show as famous as this one are human. Everybody makes mistakes. It is not the first time that a streaming platform like HBO goes back and changes something shortly after its release. The Last of Us itself made headlines recently with the posting of an edited trailer online.
