DON’T NOD, the French company that gave birth to Life is Strange, presented Harmony: The Fall of Reverie. It is a new narrative adventure coming soon to PC and consoles.
In Harmony: The Fall of Reverie we follow the story of Polly, a young woman who, after many years spent abroad, returns home in search of her missing mother. Upon her return, however, she realizes that her hometown has changed radically: now a megacorporation called MK controls the population and threatens the community.
In all of this, Polly discovers that she possesses a very precious gift: that of clairvoyance. Thanks to this power he can get in touch with Reverie, the realm of human ambitions: Glory, Happiness, Power, Chaos, Bond and Truth. Here Polly transforms into Harmony, the goddess who has the ability to choose which Ambition will end up dominating Reverie so as to restore the delicate balance between the world of the gods and the human one.
DON’T NOD developers promise a game full of choices whose consequences will have a tangible impact on both worlds, both that of the deities and that of humans. Borrowing typical board game mechanics, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie allows players to bond with Ambitions and receive crystals from them. These are useful for unlocking new paths when Polly finds herself at crossroads that will determine the evolution of the story and, consequently, the fate of humanity.
Finally, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie can count on a particular artistic direction to outline everyday life in the Mediterranean city where the events of the game take place. More, the soundtrack is curated by Lena Raineformer composer of Celeste and Chicory: A Colorful Tale.
DON’T NOD’s next video game will be available in June on PC (via Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
