343i will continue betting on Halo Infinite’s Forge mode
Michael Shorr, lead designer of the Forge mode, is aware of the community’s concerns and fears about the future of the mode in Halo Infinite. For this reason, he guaranteed that the component will remain active and that they will continue to add new features in the future.
This makes sense, as Forge injected quite a bit of vitality into the game after several months without relevant content. In addition, it is a tool that keeps the community active and encourages players to return to the title.
“The high-level plan for Forge remains the same. We’ll be adding new features and quality of life improvements, fixing bugs, and responding to player feedback. We’ve already talked about some of the upcoming Forge features (AI spawn, mini-game mode, and dev map editing),” Shorr said.
Without a doubt, this is good news for fans of the franchise who still enjoy Halo Infinite. Despite this, fears about what will happen to the game are still latent, since it is not clear what will happen with the promise of 10 years of content after everything that has happened in recent months.
