The Dead Space remake released a few days ago continues to garner praise from critics and the community of players, developers, and other creators alike. And it is that among the different positive messages that it has received from the gamer press, who say that the remake surpasses the original version in several aspects, the creators of the new game have obtained recognition from figures such as John Carpenter, one of the most important in the history of horror movies, who classified it as “exciting and terrifying”.
And now it has been Glen Schofield himself, who is the creator of the original Dead Space of the year 2008 and who now serves as CEO of Striking Distance Studios (developers of Callisto Protocol), who has not kept his emotion when it comes to praising the work of EA and Motive.

It was in a response to a recent Linkedin post that Schofield delivered words to the team for their faithful recreation in Dead Space Remake.
“To everyone who worked on the original, thank you for your contributions to an amazing game. It has stood the test of time. And to Motive, thank you for your attention in faithfully redoing the game. Congratulations,” said the developer.
Words that reconfirm not only that the good reception from the fans is 100% deserved, but also make it clear that it is a very well made video game and with such respect for the original work, that it received the “blessing” of your Creator.
