TEL AVIV – At least six rockets from Gaza struck the area Israel on Thursday (23/2/2023). It was in response after the Zionist forces carried out an attack in Nablus which killed 11 residents Palestine and left about 100 others injured.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), as quoted by the Jerusalem Post, confirmed that six rockets from the Gaza Strip had struck southern Israel on Thursday morning.
Of the six rockets, five were shot down by the Iron Dome missile defense system. Meanwhile, the sixth rocket fell in an open area.

Air raid sirens wailed across towns along the Gaza border, such as in Ashkelon and Sderot.
Initial reports indicated explosions had been heard in the area. Video footage surfacing on social media shows today’s rocket attack.
The Israeli military previously stated that its operation in Nablus, West Bank, on Wednesday killed only three people it called “terrorists”, who were part of a militant group that recently carried out shooting attacks on Israeli citizens.
However, the Israeli troops’ attacks continued and the death toll increased to 11 people.
The Israeli forces’ operation is reminiscent of a similar attack in January, marking one of the deadliest offensive operations in the West Bank.
