In addition to the thorough approach to Zwolle station, the railway line between Enschede and the German border will be electrified. As a result, a direct train will soon run from Zwolle, via Enschede, to Münster. Boerman is also in favor of the Nedersaksenlijn, the rail connection between Hardenberg and Groningen.
