In addition to the thorough approach to Zwolle station, the railway line between Enschede and the German border will be electrified. As a result, a direct train will soon run from Zwolle, via Enschede, to Münster. Boerman is also in favor of the Nedersaksenlijn, the rail connection between Hardenberg and Groningen. He does emphasize, however, that it is mainly Drenthe and Groningen’s turn.
