Two of the most important groups of pop music in Mexico —Pandora and Flans— will return to Guadalajara with the “Unexpected Tour”. At the end of March 2022 they were with this concept in the city and now they repeat the feat to the delight of the people of Guadalajara. The appointment is today, Saturday, February 25, at 9:00 p.m.
Mayte Lascurain from Pandora told this medium that she endorses that with this tour it is not about two groups singing together, but about a concept of five women who dance, sing and make the public that goes to see them live a comprehensive experience.
“We are very happy to return to this important city and with such an important public, it is because if you do not come to Guadalajara, it is because you did not tour. And now we are going for the second time; It fills me with joy to be able to go to work for you again and to feel you again”, says Mayte. And he notes that those who have not seen the concert should be encouraged to go, “it is a wonderful show, also (the members) we get together very well”.
He confesses that there are fun and emotional moments in the show, the attitude will be at its best and with new costumes. Mayte reiterates that all the squares are very important, but that Guadalajara has their respect. “Sometimes it is like being in front of a more demanding teacher, more knowledgeable, more everything. So, you have to go very prepared, but very happy”.
After so much time together, the five singers: Mayte, Isabel, Fernanda, Mimi and Ilse have also generated very close ties that allow them to get to know each other better on stage and respect the spaces that each one has: “What I have learned is to respect the essence of each one, whatever you want to do as long as you don’t disrespect anyone, I allow it. And I have tried a lot to understand that each one of us has the right to say what we want to say”.
That’s what teamwork is all about, understanding, communicating and respecting each other so that they all shine in each of the concerts they offer. “We understand that we work for ‘Inexperado Tour’ and as such, all the respect comes from there.”
The songs that the public will listen to live have marked a before and after in the pop culture of Mexico and Latin America, they are songs that are still being heard today and that people treasure and sing them at the top of their lungs every time they listen to them. “On this tour we said that only very famous songs will come out; there are times when Pandora fans can request songs from us that are not included (in the tour) and if there is someone very insistent, well we sing a little bit, because that’s why we sing live, to ensure that everyone leaves satisfied ”; however, in this concept of “Unexpected Tour” they have opted for the hits of both groups.
“We try to ensure that the intensity of the show never drops, because that’s how it happened, that’s how it was studied, that’s how it worked and that’s how it has given great results.” The five of them are so dedicated that even with the accidents they have had, like when Mimi hurt her leg or Ilse who suddenly had heat attacks, they all support each other and carry on the show with quality and respect, because also, they are all very committed to offering the best.
A double CD plus a DVD with the “Inexperado Tour” was recently published; in this regard, Mayte shares that the material has been very well received by the public, however, he confesses that the concept as such gives for much more and Although nothing has been raised or specified, it might be a good idea for the five of them to record a song to round off their union through this tour.
Particularly with Pandora, the private presentations continue, Mayte says that 2022 was very abundant and she hopes that 2023 will be like that too, the trio also intends, “that Pandora make a record is more down-to-earth, but as always, do it very carefully, the record must have a very high vocal and musical quality. It’s already been talked about.”
