The accident happened around 8 p.m. on the site of a sand-lime brick factory on the PR Roelfsema Rzn road. According to a spokesperson for the Marechaussee, exercises were held on the site and the vehicle then overturned. Three other soldiers were slightly injured and treated on the spot.
An investigation is underway into how the incident could have happened.
