Feyenoord starts the home game against PSV on Sunday without Quilindschy Hartman. The left defender is ill and is therefore missing from the front runner’s selection. Marcos Lopez replaces him.
The loss of Hartman is the third setback for trainer Arne Slot. Keeper Justin Bijlow suffered a fracture in his wrist during training on Saturday and cannot play for the time being. The German Timon Wellenreuther takes over Bijlow’s place under the bar.
Midfielder Sebastian Szymanski is the third absent at Feyenoord. The Pole has a knee injury. Quinten Timber, who just returned from an injury a few weeks ago, starts in midfield.
The Brazilian Igor Paixão returns to the base. Last week against FC Twente (1-1) he was still a substitute. Alireza Jahanbakhsh is victimized by Slot and starts on the reserve bench. Striker Santiago Giménez is again preferred to Danilo.
Feyenoord defends a 4-point lead over PSV.
