We do not tell you anything new if we tell you that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is just around the corner, but perhaps, after this premiere, you wonder what other films are confirmed by Marvel for the 2023. Is the case? Well, you know that we are going to get you out of doubt right now. This is everything that is coming this year, cinematically speaking, within the marvelita universe.
And it is that despite all the noise that Marvel generates, the truth is that last year the factory “only” released three films in theaters. Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and thunder and Wakanda forever were the titles that continued to fuel the UCM while the Disney+ series did the same on the small screen. For this 2023 we raise the bet with nothing less than four ribbons that will come to the big screen.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (February 17, 2023)
In a week we will have a new dose with the arrival of Quantumania. This tape comes to continue the story of Ant-man and the Waspa couple of characters who, although they have never been one of the most popular among the public (they lack the charisma that other great superheroes in the franchise can have), do not stop entertaining and being nice with their adventures.
Scott and Hope’s trip to the Quantum Realm will be anyway determining for the development of other Marvel stories and it is that on their way many viewers will discover who Kang the Conqueror is, whom we will see later in other Marvel movies. We are therefore facing one of the most important films of the MCU and of Phase 5, which is precisely inaugurated with this premiere. Almost nothing!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (May 5, 2023)
The most goofy characters in the galaxy (and Marvel) return with a third installment of their adventures. Written and directed by James Gunn, it stars the usual faces of the cast, including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña and Dave Bautista. As the great villain of the film we will have Chukwudi Iwuji (The Peacemaker) who will give life to High Evolutionary.
We still do not have an official extended synopsis at the moment, but we do know that this could be a film with a “farewell” flavor and much more emotional than the previous ones. And it is that the director himself has already commented in more than one interview that this third part of the saga will offer us a «epic ending«, Assuming that it will be a kind of closure to the adventures of this particular team.
What we do have is a first and generous advance (it lasts almost 2 minutes) with which to get an idea of what we are going to see when we go to the cinema at the beginning of May. You have it on these lines. Hit play.
The Marvels (July 28, 2023)
Our Captain Marvel It will finally have its sequel in 2023 and will once again feature Brie Larson as its undisputed protagonist. We will also have the presence of Kamala Khanwhich we have already met in the Disney + series, by Nick Fury and Monica Rambeau, as the most prominent characters -beyond the villain, who will be played by actress Zawe Ashton, but about whom much more is still unknown .
We do not have much information about what we will find in this film or from what thread of previous tapes or series it could draw. In the same way, we do not have any progress on video either, something that we may not see until well into the year – who knows, maybe they will take advantage of the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie to delight us with the trailer in theaters. It’s time to write down the date on the agenda and wait.
Blade (November 3, 2023)
If nothing goes wrong, on November 3, 2023 we will see the last movie of the year by Marvel in theaters. We are referring to Blade, possibly the most discordant title in its entire catalog and a reboot that generates a lot of expectation to know how the franchise will include the story within the UCM. We actually already saw a nod that came to confirm this addition in the Eternals post-credit scenes, but we still don’t know exactly what story they will develop for this vampire hunters played by Mahershala Ali -anyone else in the room (very) keen to see how he picks up the baton from Wesley Snipes?
Of course, whatever it is, we have the announcement by Kevin Feige that Blade will no longer be classified as “R” (over 18 years of age) to start offering less violent content and that fits within the category PG-13like most UCM tapes.
