Elizabeth Olsen has blown up the internet with a deleted scene from Avengers: Endgame. A video of the actress tearing up photos on set includes the Marvel Studios star explaining a scene cut from the big MCU movie. In it, both the Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange appear.
The actress explains that They were doing additional photography for the Avengers: Endgame movie. and that it was actually the first time that she and Benedict Cumberbatch had worked together. “That’s…I don’t even know if that was in the movie,” Elizabeth Olsen admitted. “But that’s the first time Benedict and I worked together at the MCU, when we were doing additional photography. And they had just added a piece where Doctor Strange was throwing a fireball or something, and then I was throwing a fireball or something. I don’t even know if it’s in the movie. But that was our first time working together.”
Curiosities and anecdotes in the filming of Marvel
Of course, Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Cumberbatch would meet again in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness three years later. But they would do so as enemies, rather than allies. The next photo turns out to be one of the most traumatic moments of Wanda Maximoff in Avengers: Infinity War. However, despite the fact that Thanos intends to kill the Vision of Paul Bettany… No one would say it from the expression of the actress, who is smiling and looking away as if the thing was not with her.
According to the WandaVision actress, the Russo brothers posted the photo and the day was filled with many tears. However, she doesn’t know what she’s doing there. “I feel like the Russo brothers posted that photo,” Elizabeth Olsen said. “Guys, I don’t know, we do a lot… This day was filled with a lot of tears and improvising Vision’s death. And, I think we finished my coverage and I was relieved and I was… I don’t know what I’m doing there.” What memories do you have of that time and of Avengers: Endgame?
