Denpasar Sound – Egy Maulana Vikri listed himself as one of the players who managed to score a goal in his debut match.
One goal was offered by Egy Maulana Vikri when defending Dewa United from the early minutes in the match against Madura United, at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Thursday (2/2/2023).
It’s a shame that Shin Tae Yong’s goal for the Indonesian national team in the 17th minute failed to lead Dewa United to a full point.
The reason is, the goal guarded by former Persib Bandung, M. Natshir was unable to withstand Hugo Gomes’ execution from the spot.

Through Sapeh Kerrap’s goal, Dewa United had to be willing to share points with Madura United. One point was unable to bring Jan Olde Riekerink’s team away from the red zone.
Even though he failed to win, Egy Maulana Vikri’s performance made Dewa United coach Jan Olde Riekerink praise him.
According to him, what was shown by former FC Vion player Zlate Moravce was extraordinary. Even so, he needed adaptations in order to unite with the team.
“He is one of the big talents in Indonesia and he is not fully fit yet, but you can see for yourself how class he is,” said Jan Olde as quoted from the LIB page, Thursday (2/2/2023).
“I am very happy that he scored. He is a good team player with class individual skills.”

“That’s why I said, give him time to be more dominant. But today I am very happy with his performance,” he said again.
Meanwhile, Eggy considered that he was still not satisfied even though he managed to score a goal.
“I’m happy to score on my debut. But for the result, I think we should have won today. So far I’m not fully fit but I’m very happy to be performing this time,” he said.
