Konami has announced that it has chosen the Italian telecommunications company Open Fiber as an official sponsor of Coppa eFootball Italia. In this way, Open Fiber becomes the first and main partner of KONAMI’s latest initiative in the field of eFootball.
Open Fiber will be an integral part of Coppa eFootball Italia and will be visible in-game during the tournament konamicias well as contributing to the final prize money intended for the creation of a cutting-edge multimedia gaming zone which will be installed in the youth facilities of the winning club.

What is the “eFootball Italia Cup”?
Coppa eFootball Italia is a new eSports tournament that brings together the seven partner clubs of the KONAMI roster: AC Milan, AC Monza, AS Roma, Atalanta BC, FC Internazionale Milano, SS Lazio and SSC Napoli.
The tournament will see three different types of players join forces as one team to represent each of the competing clubs. A selected player from the youth teams of the clubs involved, a pro-player who is currently part of the club’s eSports team and a fan of the club selected from an online qualifying tournament, the konamici.
