It all started when it was announced that the character would return to the 2D platform genre as Earthworm Jim 4 for current consoles. However, now it seems to have come to an end because Intellivision Amico did not materialize and it is rumored that its makers never even had the official license.
In July of last year Intellivision Amico stated that the project was still underway, but now the latest details suggest that this is not the case. We will have to be attentive to more information.
