ROME, 03 FEB – The Iranian director Jafar Panahi, imprisoned for about seven months in Iran, was released today on bail: this is what the New York-based NGO CHRI announced. Panahi was released “two days after starting a hunger strike”, claims the CHRI, while the Iranian newspaper Sargh published a photo of Panahi leaving Tehran’s Evin prison. (HANDLE).
