Eclipse, the next big expansion for Destiny 2, is getting closer every day. This is an exciting time for Guardians, and Bungie wants to ensure that’s the case for everyone, not just those who are keeping up with Destiny 2 and its content.
What happens is that The Witch Queen, the Destiny 2 expansion that arrived in 2022, will be free to play this weekend. The promotion is already available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. The expansion will be available on trial until the end of Sunday, February 26.
It may seem like a very short time to enjoy all the content of The Witch Queen and it is true that it is. However, it must be remembered that this is only a promotional test with which Bungie seeks to increase sales of the expansion. That said, trying it will help you more than you think.

What happens is that the trial of The Witch Queen will let you keep all the content you get. That is, by participating in different missions and raids you will get loot that your Guardian will keep, whether you decide to buy the expansion or not. This way, you can get a taste of the awesomeness of this expansion and get a lot of loot that was inaccessible to your character.

Of course, since it is a test, it is recommended that you try to play it on Normal difficulty so that it does not take much time. It is still a good opportunity to experience Vox of the Discipline, a raid loved by the community and that offers loot that you will want to have in your collection.
Are you going to take advantage of the test of The Witch Queen? What are you most excited about trying out this expansion? Tell us in the comments.
