Apple TV+ shared a sneak peek of the series premiere “Dear Edward,” which made its world premiere this Friday, February 3, 2023. The highly anticipated emotional drama created by Emmy Award winner Jason Katims and starring Emmy nominee Connie Britton, SAG Award winner Taylor Schilling and the new release Colin O’Brien will premiere with the first three episodes, followed by a new episode weekly, every Friday through March 24, 2023. Episode 101 – Pilot
Edward (Colin O’Brien) is nervous about his family moving to Los Angeles. Lacey’s (Taylor Schilling) marriage is strained. Dee Dee (Connie Britton) and Zoe (Audrey Corsa) celebrate. Edward’s flight leaves for Los Angeles.
Episodio 102 – “Food”
Lacey (Taylor Schilling) tries hard to do something right for Edward (Colin O’Brien). Later, she meets more people affected by the accident at the Grief Group’s first therapy session.
Episode 3 – “Stuff”
Shay (Eve Ariel Binder) and Edward (Colin O’Brien) search for clues about the mystery girl. Adriana (Anna Uzele) decides to run for her grandmother’s place. Dee Dee (Connie Britton) goes to Los Angeles in search of answers.

Coming from Apple Studios, “Dear Edward” tells the story of Edward Adler (played by Colin O’Brien), a 12-year-old boy who survives a devastating commercial plane crash that kills all the other passengers on the flight, including his family.

“Dear Edward” is written by Jason Katims, who is serving as showrunner. He is also an executive producer through True Jack Productions alongside Jeni Mulein. The book’s author Ann Napolitano also serves as an executive producer alongside Fisher Stevens (“Palmer”), who is directing the first episode and serving as executive producer on the pilot episode.
