The match between De Graafschap and Telstar in the first division was briefly halted on Friday evening just before the end. Referee Robin Hensgens decided to interrupt the game because beer was thrown on the field, the Doetinchem home club said.
The unrest arose after Telstar’s opening goal in the 84th minute. Jonathan Mulder gave the team from Velsen the lead.
After halftime had returned, the game resumed. It remained with Telstar’s only goal.
