SuaraBandung.id – Cristiano Ronaldo again contributed to Al Nassr when he defeated Al Taawon at the Msool Park Stadium, Friday (17/2/2023) at 22.00 WIB.
The duel, which was presented in Week 17 of the Saudi Arabian League, ended with a narrow score of 2-1 for Al Nassr’s victory.
Ronaldo managed to show an impressive appearance with Al Nassr by scoring two assists.
The team nicknamed Faris Najd opened a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute through Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s goal.

After receiving Ronaldo’s breakthrough bait, Ghareeb successfully broke into Al Taawon’s goal by shooting a shot towards the right side.
The game continued to be controlled by the home team, there were several shots which endangered Al Taawon’s goal which was guarded by Maylson. But until the first round ended, the score did not change.
Behind 1-0, Al Taawon began to increase the intensity of the attack at the start of the second half. This effort succeeded in getting the team nicknamed The Wolves to equalize through Alvaro Medran’s goal in the 47th minute.
Alvaro managed to maximize Al-Ghamdi’s pass and fired a one-touch shot at Al Nassr’s goal.
Al Taawon even had time to turn ahead through Alvaro’s second goal. However, the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) showed that the Spaniard was already in an offside position. Goal disallowed and score still 1-1.

In the 78th minute, it was Al Nassr who managed to double the advantage. Ronaldo again provided assists for Abdullah Madu’s goal.
The match was stopped to review Abdullah Madu’s goal. In this case, Ronaldo is deemed to have been in an offside position first.
However, the referee decided a goal for Al Nassr, so the score changed to 2-1 and lasted until the final whistle sounded.
The victory brought Al Nassr back to the top of the standings with 40 points. Meanwhile, Al Taawon is still in fifth place with 30 points.
