Shadowy skirmishes comes to Pokémon GO as the new special investigation to confront the Team GO Rocket.

New Special Research Shadow Skirmishes from Pokémon GO
Shadow Skirmishes is the new Special Research of Pokémon GO starring the wicked Team GO Rocket. It started on February 1 and will be available until March 1, 2023.
Players who enter on those dates and are at least Trainer Level 8 will be able to start this quest. It is necessary that the previous Special Research is not among your missions in progress. Second phase of Dark Skirmishes in Pokémon GO
The second phase of Shadow Skirmishes is all about battling against Team GO Rocket recruits again. This time you will need to catch at least 4 Shadow Pokémon and purify two of them so that they forget the move Frustration.
It’s pretty simple and will reward you with a Rocket Radar for furthering the Investigation. These are all the tasks:
Defeat 6 Team GO Rocket recruits: 10 Hyper PotionsCatch 4 Shadow Pokémon: 15 Poké BallPurify 2 Shadow Pokémon: 10 Pinap Berries
Rewards: 2,000 EXP, 15 Super Ball and 1 Radar Rocket.
Third phase of Shadow Skirmishes
Now that you have a Radar Rocket, you will have to look for the leaders of the Team GO Rocket in Pokémon GO.

Shadow Skirmishes Phase Four

But winning the confrontation will not be easy, because the evil leader will now be using a powerful Dark Registeel. The good news is that you will have a chance to capture this Corrupted Legendary if you manage to defeat him.

Fifth Phase of Shadow Skirmishes
As promised, you can now relax and rest after defeating the boss of the Team GO Rocket in Pokémon GO. The fifth phase of Shadow Skirmishes is just about claiming 7,500 experience points. This will also unlock the final rewards, which as always include two of the coveted Silver Pinap Berries.
