Relic Entertainment™, Inc. e SEGA Europe Limited showed the fourth and final faction trailer for Company of Heroes 3. The video allows you to learn more about the awaited Deutsches Afrikakorps and its arsenal of mobile and mechanized vehicles and weapons. Debuting in both single-player and multiplayer, the Afrikakorps are a unit famed for their prowess in the North African desert.
The official description says that “the Afrikakorps is the most extreme and unorthodox army in the game and suits those who like to play aggressively, putting pressure on the enemy and taking great advantage of the synergy between specialized infantry and armored vehicles. Afrikakorps users can use the Half-track to quickly deploy troops in response to enemy threats or to support the offensive, while the versatile Panzer III is the workhorse of the army. The armored reserve system allows you to deploy the fearsome Tiger Tank and other heavily armored units. In the harsh deserts of North Africa, the Afrikakorps also had to rely on its vehicle towing capabilities to reposition 88mm Flak 36 anti-tank guns or to repair damaged tanks.
“Like all factions in Company of Heroes 3, the Afrikakorps have their own assortment of battle support groups to tackle unique battlefield scenarios. Italian Guastatori, clad in all-black uniforms, wield deadly flamethrowers to strike fear into their enemies. Or use the Italian Combined Army Tactical Group, which allows you to field some impressive units, such as the highly effective Semovente da 75/18 assault gun, the elite Bersaglieri infantry and the M13/40 Carro Armato light tank for a rapid attack”.
