Denpasar Sound – The new coach of PSIS Semarang, Coach Gilbert Agius revealed the problems faced by PSIS Semarang in the BRI League 1 2022/2023.
Before officially joining PSIS, Coach Agius admitted that he had observed the game of Taisei Marukawa CS and the squad belonging to Laskar Mahesa Jenar.
Players owned by PSIS Semarang will continue to be used to play the remaining matches to complete the BRI League 1.
“Before coming, I saw how the PSIS team played,” said Agius as quoted from the official PSIS website, Sunday (26/2/2023).

“PSIS has many good and experienced players. We are trying to maximize these good players.” Apart from praising the quality of PSIS Semarang players, he also conveyed the problems faced by Marukawa et al.
“Currently the problem is how to manage and maintain players’ stamina, because the last three games were very short. We also still have to travel from one city to another,” explained Agius.
